Decreto Flussi Italia
where employers and foreign workers meet!
What is Decreto Flussi?
The Decreto Flussi is an annual Italian government decree that sets a limited quota (a specific number) of work permits for non-EU citizens to enter Italy for employment.
- Its Purpose: It is designed to allow Italian employers to hire foreign workers in specific sectors where labor shortages exist, such as seasonal agriculture/tourism or non-seasonal construction, transport, or mechanics.
- Quota System: The number of available permits is strictly limited each year and is allocated to applicants on a first-come, first-served basis during specific online submission periods known as “Click Days.”
Key Status of Your Application
- Our Action: We successfully submitted your application on your employer’s behalf during the designated submission window (“Click Day”).
- Next Steps: The application is now being reviewed by the Italian authorities (the Sportello Unico per l’Immigrazione – SUI). This process involves several stages, including:
- Quota Check: Confirming your application falls within the limited annual quota.
- Document Verification: Checking that all employer and worker documents are correct and compliant.
- Police Check (Questura): Verifying there are no impediments related to public order or security.
What You Need to Know Moving Forward
- Timeline: Due to the high volume of applications and the detailed checks required, the processing time can vary. We will notify you immediately the moment we receive the official outcome.
- No Guarantee: As this is a quota-based system, the successful submission of the application does not guarantee final approval, though we are doing everything to ensure a positive outcome.
- Next Step After Approval: If the application is successful and the Nulla Osta (work authorization) is issued, you must then apply for your Entry Visa at the Italian Consulate in your country of residence within the required timeframe.
We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed of any major developments. Please ensure all your personal contact information remains current with us.
